Clerihew (attempted on Mr. Manmohan Singh)

Indian leader Mr. Manmohan Singh
Wears a turban with a zing

Intellectual, smart but never asserts
Believes in savings, even his words

clerihew is a poetic form about a celebrity. The celebrity’s name is the title of this humorous type of poem, and the person is named in the first line. A clerihew has four lines, which are usually of an irregular length. Lines one and two rhyme, and lines three and four rhyme.

A special thanks to Daisy Mariposa for motivating me to attempt this form.
