L For Let It Go

Snippet Of A Day In My Life

Heart breaks and bleeds
Dreams shatter and die
Let it go

L Let it go

A very valuable lesson in life "Let it go". Easy said than done. I have (rather had) a tendency to live in my past, to count heart breaks more than my blessings. I have a dark twisted (Kind of) past which use to overshadow my present a lot. But I have changed (Still work in progress though). As my elder one is growing; he is also teaching me a lot of life skills, like letting go. His heart breaks become mine and together we work on it and we move on. This has also healed me, I am more free from my past and more aware of my present.

Where are you? Still in the past, lost in the future, living in the moment or somewhere lost in between?

And Some of the blogs that I love from K are listed below. Do check them out.

  1. Of course, I'm thinking of the song from "Frozen" and John Travolta's advice to "let it go." I can do this when I'm dealing w/ kids, but it's not so easy when dealing w/ adults. That is, I can forgive but I'm not good at forgetting, which many think are synonymous. via A to Z Challenge

  11. We are all work in progress :) I always try my best to move on but I am not the forgive and forget kind of person. I have to really force myself to accept stuff the way it is or was and just focus on what is important in the present moment!

  13. I am lost in the future. Seems I am walking into a dark nothingness. For me it is impossible to let go. I have to live on. Well, probably, that is life. V's company is my saviour.

  15. I am stuck a bit in the past but am fortunate enough to have one son in particular of all my sons who FORCES ME to live in the present! He just won't understand anything but the present...or so it seems. At any rate, because of him I am smiling as I type this, I can't get stuck in the past for long!

    Great beautiful entry!
