I
looked through the doors and windows
Through
my wrinkles and greys
I
could swear you were just here
I can
still smell your presence
I am
still learning the lessons
There you are;
Staring at me
Red,
shimmering and bold
Under
the pile of paper
My
youth, my past, my present
My
childhood album

So very true....when one looks at one's childhood albums, it does seem like it was only yesterday! Where has the time gone?
ReplyDeleteYess..where did the time go? How did I reach here?
Deletesmiles...it is intersting to look back at those pictures and see how far we have come...even to look back at our poems and how far we have come as well....time flies...
ReplyDeleteBrian I agree. So true even looking back old poems can remind you from where you started and where you have reached. :)
DeletePhoto album is a great reminder of the journey we have traveled so far. Nice Sfruti.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Janu :)

ReplyDeleteKathryn yes they are :)
DeleteI swear you were just there... I feel like that at times, especially when I am riding my horse (I had a pony when I was young). Nicely done.
