Dear
Black,
Deep,
mysterious, present and absent
You
ink the heart and tug at the ache
Colors
die, tears dry, smiles wry
White
turns grey and grey turns dark
When
you are there!!!

I like the description, "deep, mysterious, present and absent." All describe the color well, even though present and absent seem to contradict one another.
ReplyDeleteThanks :)

DeleteI really liked that ink the heart line. Great work.
ReplyDeleteThanks Draug :)
DeleteI love the way you presented this with the black background. Very dramatic. I think the only good black is the LBD black.
ReplyDeleteHey thanks so much :)
DeleteA magically stirred and mixed concoction of a deep and good poem. It's about time that dark shade had a letter written to it!:)
ReplyDeleteShawn thanks so much :)
