Welcome to Day 2
of PADE. Thank you for the warm welcome on Day 1.
The theme for
today is “Books”
Here is my
interpretation of the theme.
This is a photograph of “Bhagwat
geeta”. It was gifted to me 9 years back by my mother when I was moving out of
the house. She handed it to me and told me
“"nainam
chindanti shastrani
nainam dahati pavakah
na chainam kledayanty apo
na sosayati marutah"
nainam dahati pavakah
na chainam kledayanty apo
na sosayati marutah"
(Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Two verse 23)
"Sri Krishna said: The soul can never be cut to pieces by any weapon, nor burned by fire, nor moistened by water, nor withered by the wind."
"Sri Krishna said: The soul can never be cut to pieces by any weapon, nor burned by fire, nor moistened by water, nor withered by the wind."
She passed on a valuable lesson, to never change
your soul, your core, your values. I held it close to my heart and promised her
to always remain true to my heart, true to myself. Since then I have read it so
many times..have read so many verses and the surprising thing is...each verse
can be interpreted in so many different ways. In a way it has answers to all the questions.
We look forward to visiting you all and seeing your interpretation of the theme! We will be announcing the "Shutterbug of the day" for Alone very shortly.
