From where do I start and what do I write about the role of my better half in my kids' life? I am at home and he goes out & works, so the amount of time he gets with the kids is much less but that doesn't make his role any less important. He is a hands on dad and his kids love him to death. I am blessed to have a life partner like him but more than that he is one of the best fathers I have ever seen.

Colors don't lie

The moon is green, envying

the orange of sea

when it merges with blue sun,

which carries the heart breaks of white earth

soaked in colorless ashes of,

 floating birds

wailing for dead bodies of trees, red

and blue with burns, and

bleeding black blood

Of humans as pure as white

Exactly one year back on 17th April 2013 I started blogging. Now 226 posts, 40000 footprints, million friends and zillion moments later I feel like the richest person in this world.

I dedicate this post to each and everyone of you. You have made my journey full of vibrant colors and eternal memories.

Also I would like to say a special thanks to Pankti, who was one of the first person to leave her prints on my blog. (The only person before her was a spam :P ). Do check out her blog here. She is an amazing writer and has become one of my closest friends in last one year.

Burn me in your fire

Shared with NaPoWriMo. The prompt was to write a poem in terza rima. This form was invented by Dante, and used in The Divine Comedy. It consists of three-line stanzas, with a “chained” rhyme scheme. The first stanza is ABA, the second is BCB, the third is CDC, and so on.

I don't like it but I do nag a lot. I wish I would do it much less, I do try a lot but I fail miserably. Guess it goes with the territory. I promise myself almost daily but I fail also almost daily.
